‘The Blues’ have been inspiring musicians and artists like me for well over a century. As I read up a little and listened to the music my sketchbook filled with painted ombres in a myriad of blue tones, crotchets, quavers and musical staves. But perhaps my favorite print is the one inspired by Chiquita, Josephine Baker’s cheetah!

As an experienced speaker and teacher, I regularly host talks and workshops focusing on the design process and the creative techniques I use. So far I have written five books – and I have no plans to stop! They are: Freya and Fred – Hearty Good Wishes – A Field Guide – Home Quilt Home – and The Wordsmith.
